About us

A little background about how my crochet creations started.

I was always told what a caring and loving woman my grandmother and how talented she was at crochet. Her lace doilies were something to be admired and how she could make something special out of basic items. Doilies, tablecloths, clothing and still had time to teach crochet classes.

Here starts my story, having never met my grandmother, this was my attempt to have something to feel closer with her. I taught myself to crochet and over the years my work was admired. I even had requests for blankets and such.

After starting a family of my own, and making many blankets, cardigans, socks, booties, and cuddly toys. I realised it might be time to share my crochet items as I was running out of space and occasions for my little munchkin to wear them to. That’s where I thought of the shop name, my munchkin loves her blankets and I want other little ones to have the same cosy blankets to cuddle with. 

With gentle encouragement, from loved ones and other entrepreneurs, I branched out and started selling my creations and now I strive to always make each item unique, and filled with love in each stitch. I pour my heart into each and every creation. Start with the design, to then decide on colour combination and finally how to make it unique to each individual. Each piece is as special as the little one it is being sent to.
